DIRECTIONS TO NEWTOWN VILLAGE HALL

Newtown village hall is located at OS Grid Reference: 477, 635 (OS Sheet 174). You can locate it by searching for the Postcode RG20 9AT at http://www.streetmap.co.uk/

Newtown is just south of Newbury, off the A339, see map below, Click to enlarge..

From the roundabout at the M4 (J13) and A34 junction, take the A34 southbound signposted Newbury. Immediately pass the Chieveley Services slip road and stay in the left-hand lane.

Take the second exit, A339, SP Newbury, Thatcham, Reading.

1^st roundabout is at the new Vodafone HQ – Continue straight ahead.

2^nd roundabout (Fire station on right) – Continue straight ahead.

3^rd roundabout (Police station on left) – Continue straight ahead.

4^th roundabout (Halfords & Burger King on left) – Continue straight ahead.

5^th roundabout (Newbury Retail Park on left) – Continue straight ahead.

6^th roundabout (A339 / B4640 - Swan Pub) – Turn right, (B4640) and turn immediately left before the Swan Public House, signposted BURGHCLERE.

Follow the road around the right hand bend (DO NOT TAKE THE IMMEDIATE LEFT TURN).

Continue past the church and up the hill to the S Bend.

The Village hall is on your left, but the turning is too acute, so you need to proceed a few yards further to a small car park at JONATHAN HILL, turn around and take the 2^nd track which will be sign posted.

NOTE:

Parking is strictly in the Jonathan Hill car park near the entrance to the track leading to Newtown Village Hall. Only Instructors bringing equipment, are permitted to park outside the hall.
